Hey guys! Welcome back to Sycamore Hill Chicks! Last week was super hectic with school ending and my parents being away, so that was why I didn't post. But I'm back this week with one whole day of keeping chickens and everything that's involved. Some days I'm up there more other less but this is an average of what it looks like.
Morning : 10 minutes
- check food
-check water
-fill food/water as needed
-say hi to everyone
-tidy up as needed
2. Late morning (sometimes) - <5 min
- check for eggs
3. Afternoon : 20 min - 2 hours
- free range
-treats
4. Evening : 5-15 min
- fill food/water if you didn't that morning
- collect eggs
- lock up the coop
say goodnight :)
That's my typical routine! All though I call these things "chores" I find so much joy in doing them. I love the feeling of taking care of the girls and being able to control this simple little routine. Don't forget to like, subscribe and share, and I'll see you next week!
